- Description: The Playhouse has evolved over the past 2 years so I'm treating this membership drive like a relaunch, and what we're building together.

### **Fair. Sharing the journey has caused some confusion. 😳**

I'm an open book. Sometimes too open maybe. 😅

But the thing about running a community people that don't talk about is that it's not like a course or a product.

It's humans. Interacting with each other. Getting busy and not having time to log in. Or feeling overwhelmed and needing a break.

When you make a course you're much more in control of all the moving parts.

And... even though I have a rebellious streak, I'm a people pleaser at heart.

But when you're growing a community, you can't possibly please everyone, and in my attempts to do so I think I've confused everyone (sometimes even myself.) 😵‍💫

### **So this membership drive feels like a relaunch**

I've added a new tier that's a little less people-ing.

We're all busy and I want a way for folks to still be part of this amazing community and support my work without feeling pressure to "show up" all the time.

Now you can choose your own level based on your own bandwidth. And going into our 2nd year, I love the flexibility it'll give folks.

## **So what's up with the new blog?**

I started to feel like my content was all hidden...

- Emails were sent and living inside Kit.
- Podcast extended episodes were living in The Playhouse Heartbeat Community.
- Really good member workshops locked inside the community too.
- Events would happen and disappear into the past with nothing to show for it
- And my mini workshops and courses over in Thrivecart Learn

I want a solid home on the internet for all the cool stuff I do and cool stuff The Playhouse members do.

Then I remembered that I used to have a Tumblr blog back in 2008 and I freaking loved it.

It started as me posting a drawing a day and evolved into stories about life, adventures in vegan baking, sewing projects, and even this Christmas card I made from one of my flag football game photos. 🏈

This was my Christmas card that year. 🤣

I LOVED just being silly, creative, and having FUN.

This blog will be where I can document all my experiments, hot takes, pep talks, AND all the podcasts and extra content for paying Playhouse members.

I'm going all in on growing this space and I'd love for you to be a part of it. It's all The Playhouse. All the fun stuff I'm doing in business. [And you can decide how involved you wanna be.](#/portal/signup)
