Let's get weird... 🔮✨🤑
I love to poke fun at people telling us our money mindset is the problem. So why am I attending a virtual summit full of tarot, Akashic Records, Human Design, and energy clearing? Because I have a complicated relationship with money, and I’m willing to give the woo a try.
How is getting "weird" with money going to help your mindset around money?
If you've hung out with me long enough you know I love to poke fun at people telling us our "money mindset" is a problem. 🙄
Here's my thoughts on money mindset via 2022. I wonder what I even said, and if I'd still agree with it?!? If you listen, will you let me know if I'm way off base! 🤣😅
But when she told me she was hosting an event called Getting Weird With Money and she was looking for help with the graphics for the event, I was interested for sure. But why?
Tackling Money Mindset from a Woo Perspective...
Well, at the virtual event (and yes I will be attending too) they're diving into the woo side of money. Which isn't always my thing, but I have a complicated relationship with money so I'm willing to give it a shot.
And I am usually woo-curious about all these things listed on the landing page!
Things like:
- Akashic Records
- Tarot Cards
- Human Design
- Energy Clearing
Learn about how Human Design can affect your relationship with money
They're going to talk about how your Human Design shapes the way you earn & receive. Which I think could be super cool to dive into.
Fun Story: I put my birthday in wrong when I first learned about Human Design, so for years I thought I was a Projector and I was like, "Why do people love this stuff? It's so dumb."
Then when I couldn't find my results (thanks ADHD) I redid it with my correct birthday and realized I was a Generator. Yes... that makes WAY more sense! 😆
So I'm very interested to see how my Human Design might be affectng my own relationship with money.
I'm also stoked to write my a money affirmation in my own words so it sounds like me
There's nothing worse than trying to repeat some affirmation and feeling like that SNL character Stuart Smalley.

So maybe having a lil' edgy one that sounds sassy like me could work?
Who knows? I do think sometimes I am blocked around money. I mean, I do genuinely believe that rich people kinda suck. So I can see how that might be blocking me from receiving. 😵💫
And I think there's no such thing as an ethical billionaire. So... is that a money mindset issue or a fact? I think it's a fact. 😳
But I am open-minded to the fact that I could change some things, and maybe the woo is my only way through these blocks. I'm willing to give it a try.
And I'm always excited when people do something outside the box.
The Real Housewife that embodies what I can't stand about money mindset stuff...
One of the best examples of why I've never been able to lean too far into people talking about money mindset is because of people like Amanda Frances.
She's a self proclaimed Money Queen, a one-season Beverly Hills Housewife, and quite possibly my least favorite people ever on Bravo.
Probably even below Tom Sandoval. (I know 🫤) But probably not as bad as Jax Taylor. She was on one-season of The Real Beverly Hills Housewife.
Here she is getting schooled by one of my favorite housewives Boz Saint John at the one and only reunion she's been on.
This video is a little long, but the last line is AH-MAZING, and why I can't stand most "money mindset" stuff!
I don't think any amount of woo can make me a fan of people like Amanda... 😅
But I don't think Melissa's friends are ANYTHING like her, so come hang with us if ya want! 🥰
